"Lance Bangs came up with that whole concept. But the band definitely had a lot of say in it. We did some of the scouting [for locations in Portland and Albuquerque], and it was fun going back and forth about what records to do. You know, I am not a huge record collector, so I didn't even know about Squirrel Bait or some of those bands. But Neal and Marty are huge record collectors, and have been into indie rock, and even before that, just being into new wave stuff. I was more of a dork in high school. So they sort of went back and forth with Lance. My big input that I wanted in there was Sonic Youth's Sister. It's one of my favorites of all time, probably. I think they really nailed down that weird style that they have on that record. And it sounds great. I think it's probably just because I listened to it so much in I guess sort of early adulthood."

The fourth episode, premiering this Friday, October 25 at 12 a.m. (EST), features The Hives's video for Main Offender, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion's Sweet n' Sour video, Radiohead's Pyramid Song video, as well as They Might Be Giants.
