Jeffrey Eugenides & Sharon Olds

Novelist Jeffrey Eugenides and poet Sharon Olds are interviewed Tuesday on Fresh Air. The Eugenides interview is online, but the Olds interview isn't unfortunately. She is one of my favorite poets.

You can read and listen to a poem about 9/11 Olds reads and talks about on FreshAir. There is a 1986 interview with her from Salon. A number of her other poems are online including I go back to May 1937 and Sex without love.

Laura Miller reviewed Middlesex by Eugenides (who also wrote the Virgin Suicides) and there is a link to the first chapter.

Steve Rhodes is a journalist and photographer in San Francisco.
