From Billboard:

The debut album release by "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson has been postponed until early 2003. Sources say that the RCA album — which originally had been due Nov. 26 — was pushed back due to Clarkson's commitment to this fall's "American Idol" tour.

Clarkson's debut single, "Before Your Love/A Moment Like This," is still set for commercial release Tuesday (Sept. 17). Meanwhile, Fox Filmed Entertainment and "American Idol" creator Simon Fuller have confirmed that they are in discussions for an "American Idol" feature film.

I absolutely loved the American Idol special and I think that Kelly is fantastic. Thanks for the wonderful entertainment and I will be seeing you all at the Nassau Coliseum. Kudos to you all!
