Hallowed be thy Name
Mob Rules
(SPV)

This lot are German and play melodic metal, and play it well. Despite the name, they sound nothing at all like Black Sabbath. They play German power metal as it should be played. This is their third album, and it shows. The band is tight and very skillfull. The album is very consistent and there are no dullards on here. As you would expect with a German band of this sort, Roland Grapow, ex-Helloween, shows up here to lend his chops on 'Way of the World.' Rage's lead singer, Peavy Wagner, lends his vocals on 'How the Gypsy was Born.' If you like Helloween, Savatage, Rage, Gamma Ray et al, then this lot will be right up your street. They aren't necessarily doing anything that highly original, but they do it very well.
