Coverage guide

At tvpicks.net, Laurel Krahn has a guide to coverage as well as alternatives which aren't directly dealing with 9-11 such as the 13 movies set in NYC Turner Movie Classics is showing.

I wrote last week about tv coverage and about Faith and Doubt at Ground Zero and In Memorium which are both repeating tonight. I have been posting today to TVBarn.

Howard Kurtz has an online Media Notes column on the coverage.

And Rob Morse begins his column Top 10 better things to do today which is part of the SF Chron's 12 page 9/11 section:

Put down the remote. Don't even think of looking at the TV. Drop the newspaper — well, maybe in a few minutes.

By now, most of you want to escape the tearjerker music and video of flames and dust. The media and the politicians have gone too far. We're just one step away from making this date a national holiday, which is two steps away from moving it to a Monday so we can have a three-day weekend with department store terror-day sales...
