Unwritten Law Guitarist Partially Blown Up

In an apparent dispute over noise levels, Unwritten Law (who are actually pretty good) guitarist Steve Morris was injured by an alleged bomb blast last week:

The homemade device was allegedly planted by Morris's neighbor, a security guard and local police officer, according to a statement released by the band's record company. The guitarist suffered injuries to his arms and eardrums and the band has now cancelled several upcoming tour dates as he recovers. Morris's neighbor was arrested and taken into custody.

The guitarist believes the attack was deliberate.

"He planned this for a week and tried to kill me with a bomb," Morris told the Associated Press. "I can't believe someone would go to these lengths over a domestic dispute about noise levels. I'm sorry we have to cancel shows and disappoint our fans because of this vindictive individual."

Unwritten Law's latest single, "Up All Night", from its album, Elva, is currently Number 14 on the Billboard Modern Rock Chart, following up the group's Number One Modern Rock hit, "Seein' Red."

Good thing we don't have any neighbors like that after last weekend's party. We'd be blowed up real good.
