As far as comic book characters, DC and Marvel -- despite having a few million different superheroes in their 'actor's agency' -- have long since depleted their stable. So now Hollowood is dipping deeper into the cultural slop barrel just to keep those young boys with disposable incomes buying movie tickets and action figures.
