  • Stumping for Kucinich

    This Independent will settle for supporting the Democrats in 2004 -- IF that party becomes moral and decent and committed to social and economic justice for all the people. A Democratic Party headed by Howard Dean or Wes Clark is unacceptable, though, and will send me running toward Ralph Nader should he decide to join the fray. Right now, the only progressive antidote to the poison of Bush I can see is Dennis Kucinich.

The CIA has formally asked the Justice Department to start an investigation of whether two senior officials in the Bush White House deliberately revealed the identity of an undercover CIA officer to get back at her husband for his role in revealing the "Yellowcake Road" hoax. Justice has officially begun a preliminary inquiry. Revealing the identity of a covert agent is an aggravated felony punishable by up to ten years in prison.
