I live in Hamilton Ontario, a city of almost half a million people sitting about 45 minutes west of Toronto. I thought I would share some thoughts I had this afternoon/evening as the lights went out.

On Aug. 13, I said a final farewell to my former childhood pastor, my mentor, and my friend. Father Henry Zerhusen was the best priest I have ever known, one who loved God's people much more than he cared about rules. He was a humble giver of gifts, one who helped each person he touched to see the Christ living within them.
