Apple and Apple Head to Court

Apple Computer and Apple Music are set to go to court in London tomorrow. The suit alleges that Apple computer has gone against a previous settlement stating that Apple Music had control of all music distribution with the creation of the iTunes music store. Apple says that iTunes is a data transmission service in spite of its name.

New VoIP Service to Require Only a Telephone Number

Jajah, a new VoIP service based in Luxembourg will not require downloaded software for consumers to use it. Instead the company will connect two phone numbers via an internet connection. The company charges rates of $.017 to $.019.

Intel to Invest in Brazilian Startups

Intel’s venture capital wing known as Intel Capital has announced that it is starting a fund that will invest in startups in Brazil. Intel has previously invested $35 million in 13 different Brazilian startups which include TelecomNet and Digitron. The new fund will make an additional $50 million in investments.
