Many remember Mary Carey as the busty-blond adult film star who ran for governor of California in 2003, but few took her seriously as someone who would ever establish influence in the political arena. That is, perhaps, until she founded her own production company last year.
A news release put out by Carey, states:
At the invitation of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), Mary Carey will meet and interact with key Congressional leaders and Administration officials to discuss advancing powerful pro-business, pro-family agendas and meeting positive legislative goals. She will join Karl Rove, senior advisor to the President, for lunch on Wednesday the 15th, and President Bush for dinner on Thursday the 16th.
Carey, 24, made headlines when she attended a similar dinner with President Bush in 2005. Carey responded, “I’m really excited to be going back to Washington D.C. to see the president again.”
“Everyone thinks that politicians are stuffy, but we all had a great time last year, and I had fun signing a lot of autographs. Wait till they see that I have lost 20 pounds since the last time they saw me. Watch out Mr. President!”
Some may say that losing 20 pounds is a loss of influence for the top-heavy Carey. Is she seeking to regain the lost influence by attending the dinner, or is she planning something perhaps a little more extreme?
“Since I’m seriously considering running for governor of California again, I’m going to need a lot of support from Republican lawmakers nationwide – however I can get it.”
Some may wonder if that means President Bush or a member of Congress will be pointing to live cameras at some point in the future, swearing they did not have sexual relations with that woman, Mary Carey.
