Klezmer Musicians to release Christmas albums

The Klezmonauts have released a Christmas album. The group known for playing Klezmer music, which is a kind of Jewish folk music, have recorded an album called Oy to the World, which adds some Jewish flavor to traditional Christmas tracks. The album includes a new track, “Santa Geh Gesunder Heit” as well as “Deck the Halls”, “Oy to the World”, “Little Drummer Boy” and “We Three Kings of Orient Are” as well as others.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds to release live DVD

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds are preparing to release a live DVD next year. The Abattoir Blues Tour DVD will be a double disc. The release date for the DVD is January 29th. The two discs will include footage from two different shows, one shot in London’s Brixton Academy in 2004 and the other shot a year earlier in London’s Hammersmith Apollo. The DVD will also include bonus material such as behind the scenes footage and promotional material.
