Every January 1st, millions of Americans attempt to follow through on their various New Year’s resolutions. Whether it is quitting smoking, or eating better, or exercising more, or whatever, these efforts at self-improvement tend to be quite difficult to achieve, and the vast majority will therefore end in failure. In fact, many people give up almost immediately after their efforts begin.
However, I have an idea for a very simple and easy-to-complete New Year’s resolution for 2005:
The donations are free to you, and the causes are all very worthwhile. Even if you have pathetic dial-up like me, this will only take a few minutes each day.
Six sites. Six clicks. Six donations. All in under six minutes.
Let’s face it: If you aren’t capable of doing this, just how well do you think that new starvation diet/brutal exercise regimen/cold turkey abstinence plan of yours is going to go?
