2010 TASTY Awards: Best Food Travel Series

The winners of the “Best Food Travel Series” awards at the 2010 TASTY Awards Show in San Francisco have been announced. The Tasty Awards celebrate the best food and fashion programs on TV, in Film, and on the Web.

There were two awards in this category. The first was the “JetBlue Airways Award for Best Food Travel Series: Television.” The nominees were:

Avec Eric (Eric Ripert)
Diners, Drive-ins and Dives
Gourmet’s Diary of a Foodie
Man v. Food
No Reservations
Spain On The Road Again

The Tasty Award winner was No Reservations. The award was accepted by the producers of the program, Lydia Tenaglia and Chris Collins.

The second was the “JetBlue Airways Award for Best Food Travel Series: Web.” The nominees were:

Culinary Media Network (CMN) Travel
Without Borders
Vanuatu TV

The Tasty Award winner was Without Borders.

The award introductions were made by food and wine radio host Marcy Smothers, who often co-hosts with Guy Fieri, and PBS cooking star Joanne Weir.
